During the 3rd Annual Meeting of the EIC Engineered Living Materials (ELM) Portfolio, Maria Grazia Raucci from the Institute of Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), presented the goals, concepts and possible application of the BIOACTION project.
The meeting was hosted at the University of Primorska’s InnoRenew CoE in Izola, Soovenia, from 1 to 2 of October, 2025. There, Maria Grazia and her team from CNR joined the other 9 EIC Pathfinder projects composing the Engineered living materials (ELMs) portfolio in present themselves in short pitch videos.
The EIC ELMs Portfolio is connecting projects funded under the Engineered Living Materials Pathfinder Challenge by the EIC, which began in November 2022. Through this initiative, the EIC aims to strategically position Europe at the forefront of the emerging Engineered Living Materials field.
